Oli Brown
Open Road / Ruf

The great British blues players, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Peter Green among others, conquered the world in the early sixties, -appearing to leave unequivocal magic in their wake. There have been times since, when it was hard to see anything like a credible follow-up to these legends. If you ever worried for the future of the blues, then fret no longer. Oli Brown is the real deal, ready to carry the torch of British Blues in the 21st century, taking inspiration from today’s contemporary bluesmen like Aynsley Lister. Already paying his dues, Oli has shared a stage with giants Koko Taylor, Walter Trout, John Mayall and Buddy Guy. Open Road will take you on a journey through Blues City, where the musical architecture is splendidly diverse – sublime use of light and shade is Oli’s speciality, a gift so rare, it is easy to see that the new generation of the blues is in safe hands. Taking a trip down this open road will enable you to feel more than just the wind in your hair – you’ll feel the destiny of the blues for a modern age.
STOP PRESS: The Oli Brown Band will be appearing on the tours of JOHNNY WINTER,  ROBBEN FORD and SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY www.olibrownband.co.uk

Dani Wilde
Heal My Blues / Ruf 1137

Having been exposed to a range of music genres as a child, ranging from 60s and 70s Motown and Stax records, to Chicago Blues, and being encouraged by her father to start gigging the local pub circuit whilst still in her early teens, it was clear to see that Dani Wilde was already well on her way to becoming somewhat of a special talent. Heal My Blues is Dani's debut album.

The Believers
Lucky You / Corazong

THE BELIEVERS have toured non-stop throughout USA, UK and Europe, moved to Nashville and back, and in the process have made a brand new record called Lucky You. Co-produced with Stevie Adamek & mastered by Twangtrust’s Ray Kennedy, who produced albums for Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams amongst others. Lucky You effortlessly blends 1970’s pop hooks & harmonies while keeping one foot firmly planted in American roots. Think Fleetwood Mac meets Gram & Emmylou. Backed by an all star cast that features members of Band of Horses, Lucky You is a pop gem delivered with a heaviness and urgency that is right now.

"The Believers are brilliant"

Release Date 12th May

Twilight Hotel
Highway Prayer / Corazong

Hailing from the fertile music scene of Winnipeg, Canada,  Twilight Hotel have been compared to such memorable folk duos as Ian and Sylvia and Johnny and June because they radiate that certain elusive chemistry that can only come from two people in love singing together. For their new album Highway Prayer  they have teamed up with producer Colin Linden (Blackie & The Rodeo Kings etc.) Highway Prayer continues the duo’s provocative love story, showcasing their characteristic dark twang and noir cabaret all the while centered around their rich vocal harmonies. Recorded in Nashville, TN, Highway Prayer, features prolific guest musicians including the late Richard Bell (Janis Joplin, The Band), Stephen Hodges (Tom Waits), and Dave Roe (Johnny Cash).

Release date 12th May

Twilight Hotel will be playing in Trafalgar Square, London on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day
